And please believe me when I explain what has been happening in the last 2 years. its so bad that i lost a 6 figure job thanks to u haul i don' t want to put my unit # down or the location. I don't want to jeopardize my bigger picture.

Okay they do have the right to harrass customers. I am saying before this new manager I had vacated the unit thinking I no longer needed it after 1 year 2 months.

At that time Uhaul sent me a customer satisfaction survey. I was happy with my experience and gave them the best possible rating. Excellent in everything. Now I would say the customer service has become steeped in class consciousness and labeling thanks to Henry.

He is so proud he put his name plate on the front doors. The staff were treating a couple elderly women of color indifferently. When a person who looked like a fat wallet walks through the door they are courteous even friendly. Both Afros one from Afrca were otherwise curt bordering on surly.

When I initially complained about this being the third time the rental payment for the locker did not go through and that I felt it was a manager problem, employee went back to the office and told the manager "she is weird." Henry and I had walked through the paperwork for automatic withdrawal twice. The re-signing process he made as lengthy as like renting an apartment. I am grateful I got the same unit back but this is what I call ineffective and micromanaging. This is just a storage locker not a car or house.

I told them I have various withdrawls all month long on this account. They also have become somewhat arrogant, smug, chauvinist, overbearing, intrusive, unpleasant. So while last year I give the previous management a 10/10 in the survey.This year it would be 3/10 at best. Especially the new policy of "one Disqus round lock only." So they are going around and cutting off second locks without notice.

Also I find the Disqus round lock itself a weird policy. Thats why last year managers encouraged and allowed second locks. Half of my neighbors had second locks. There is a new level of sophistication in theft and picking locks.

Its conceivable you buy locks they put on the store floor they have keys for but repackaged. Its also conceivable they can unscrew the panel between my locker (which unfortunately is right next to managers office on other side of wall) and reinsert the panel if they want to snoop. Other units only have a chicken wire ceiling cover inside the facility. Anyway I would rate my unit satisfaction good but the customer service as poor.

Another reason for this comment is its no big secret these companies trucks or storage may be used for illicit purposes (ie drugs, human trafficking) especially the huge database makes it very harvestable or attractive to new Afro immigrant worker, or national clandestine operative. The fact that they put new mgr in there correlates with a recent sweep or abandoning of storage unit renters. Yet all that matters generally is the bottom line and maybe it can be dark funny money but why would that even matter.

So that could be why they are harassing long term storage unit renters is to keep them from noticing anything like the facility's lockers being intended for use by ? for rogue purposes.

In shock ? You haven't lived very long.

They farm your calls to people sitting at their kitchen table at home.

Part of the cheaping down process. You get what you pay for.

I continue to seek individuals or families that had similar stories occur to them. I'm hoping to gain our dignity back.

U-haul should be charged for taking our very personal items that are irreplaceable and priceless. Please contact me with your information so we can move forward. Hope to hear back from all those effected.

Bryan on Normandy Boulevard U-Haul returned our money 100% after I asked him to remove everything and restore my truck back to its original working condition. A week later we received our refund. we have not had a tow package with break controller installed as of yet. only then will we know if everything I can't see has been returned to its original condition.
