No U-Haul in Shreveport/bossier will rent a Dolly or trailer to a Ford explorer. No idea why.

They said the rent to anything other than an explorer. So we asked, and they also will not rent to a 77 Ford f100. Bc it "does not exist." Excuse me? My truck is visible in my driveway!

If you wont rent to that, what do you rent to?? They want you to rent one of their trucks AND a Dolly/trailer. Just to make a Buck. I'm not doubling my money when my truck can haul 16 ft trailers with blocks on it.

Also the weight of a Dolly with a car will outweigh my truck. My truck=5600 lbs. Car and their Dolly's=2500 lbs. They are disrespectful and rude and wont rent just to get more money.

I was in a situation where I had to get my car towed to my place asap and U-Haul wouldn't rent. TERRIBLE BUSINESS!

Monetary Loss: $1200.

This is the person who posted. Sarah. I cant log in to my account. I dont have a *** explorer if you read. My brother tried and they wouldnt because of the roll over expierience. I said they wouldnt rent to me, with my 77 ford f100. They told me it doesnt exist. So uhaul customer and kaboom, go *** yourself. Because uhaul has no excuse not to rent to me in a big *** "tank" truck. I got told it didnt exist.

Can any of you read?

Ok on the explorer. We know. We were told. Then asked about my truck.

Whats the excuse for the 77 ford f100?

Early Ford Explorers had design flaws that made them unsafe. The newer models are fine, but the bean counters and lawyers at UHaul had to look at the bottom line and say "This is not worth the risk." So no rentals to Explorers ev-ver.

Not giving in to what *you* want doesn't make this a bad company.

As for your other car,it might have been too heavy or the wheels too wide. There would have been and are reasons.

If my wheels were too wide or my truck was too heavy they would have told me that the guy on the phone said my truck did not exist. As for giving in to what I want, that's ***, im not complaing about not getting "my way" in no way at all...

I had no problem with the Explorer. I'm not griping about the Explorer or about how I didn't get my way as you put it. I'm trying to figure out why the *** on the phone told me my truck do not exist. if there was a problem with the truck they would have told me, or at least should have.

but they did not, they told me it did not exist. This is why they suck and are awful. Look it up, 1977 ford f100 longwheel base.

They do exist. Why would you tell me that if it was a simple problem of being to big or some excuse you mean.

Explorers roll over in accidents, remember? That isn't U Haul's problem it's Ford's.

What is U Hauls problem is that the trailer you are towing will also roll over when your junky Explorer does and then your confused self would want to sue U Haul! :cry

Can you read? I dont have an explorer. I asked about the explorer and they told me the rollover stuff. Ok. I was fine with that. My problem is the truck that i have was told to me that it doesnt exist. And my brothers explorer isnt junky. I wouldnt sue, because my ford f100 doesnt exist to even pull one of their trailers. *** *** What does junky have to do with it? And why must you assume we have junky ***? I just bought a brand new mazda. Money and nice things arent a problem for me(:

My hubby and i both have wonderful good paying jobs.

So...back off before you call someone you dont know, well, basically trash.
