Samantha was very helpful and very attentive to my needs when I was trying to get a truck. I didn't know exactly what I really wanted, but she asked me certain questions.

She came up with a viable solution and I trusted her judgment and her knowledge. She was an excellent customer service representative for U-Haul.

I wish I had her in my employment. Keep her; she's a valuable asset to your company!

The truck I rented was dirty and had a severe air leak when driving I rented it for three days it rained two of those days but when I returned it I ran it thru the car wash gased it up to 1/2 a tank just over . I read the truck to pull a trailer only not to use the box made that very clear when I returned it I was charged a cleaning fee use of a handtruck for three days and two additional gallons of fuel when I confronted the clerk, its a 534 location in Kerrville, Texas.

She said the seal was broken on the handtruck stored in the rear which I never open the door, I was charged the cleaning fee because I left two napkins on the seat which I was drying the rain that was coming in the door with, the fuse had to be replaced because the trailer tow lights did not work at my expense. The clerk was very defensive and rude . I am having to rent a truck as my truck is in the shop. It is very expensive weekly now for going on a month.

Im very upset with Uhaul. I have registered my complaint. I was told I would have a response within 48 hours.

Its been a week no return of charges to my credit card. When this thing is over I will never rent from you again sincerely, Dwayne Smith.

Overall horrible experience. (1) reservation oversight (2) *** poor customer support from the first agent (3)No solution for the errored two way rental.

Truck Rental. (1 day)
10' truck for Marietta to Buford.
Pickup - Saturday, 21:00, 04/13/2024.
At location, Reservation not attached to account (Contact center resolved).
Key box at the pickup location (Marietta) was empty.
The Uhaul female agent who was assisting did not give her name, was very rude, barely responding to questions and even hung up on us when we called back after having some difficulty...
Another agent(Gabriella) assisted with reassignment (Kennesaw).

Initial request was for one way rental and realized only after pickup that it was issued as two way.
Uhaul service agent advised return to 3804 Buford Drive and explain what happened as they(the agents) could not modify the rental after pickup. However, the location indicated they could not accept the truck as it was an intown rental and had to be returned to pickup location)
Forced to return(unwillingly) to Kennesaw.

Overall horrible experience.
(1) Reservation oversight
(2) Poor customer support from the first agent
(3)No solution for the errored two way rental.
Pending moves from storage but not certain if Uhaul would be the right choice again. The service support was way below any standard and not something to anticipate..

I have major safety concerns regarding their new U-Hauls I have some property damage that I have yet to be called back on I was advised that it's my responsibility to clean out broken glass from a back window that blew out when an oncoming semi past us. I believe that back window should be replaced with a solid metal then there is no more safety issue because I had it blow out and all over us so right now I am getting a vacuum and I will have the U-Haul return tomorrow
