I love U haul. Best company to rent a truck or trailer. I rent one every week.

I get such good service with U haul that I will never go any where else. You have to understand that if they run out of truck they can' t make trucks appear out of no where. Why are people so rude in this world. I used to work for a DR's office and the people that used to come in that place were like animals. Horrible. I will ask my self, why will a person act with so much entitlement. Why do some people think that they can go in a place where they needs a service and act like they are gods. That makes them look so *** and ignorant that will make me sick to my stomach. The service industry are human they make mistakes. take a chill pill and maybe then you will get results. The meaner you are the worse things will be for all of you. Think about it. Practice respect and have a little bit of human kindness and the world will be better. Persons that work in the service industry are not animals, they are human been who have feelings. You get better result acting like humans instead of beast of ***. I hate mean people........... The world is sad because of them.

Hitch ordered and appointment scheduled 1 week later-hitch no show and no call

On Saturday, May 31 at approximately 4pm I went to Malvern location to see if a trailer hitch for my car could be put on. Sherwin walked me through the process, ordered the hitch and set me up with an appointment for June 9 at 11:30am. I received an invoice confirming all of the above information. On June 9 I arrive at the location and told it might be awhile as someone didn't show up for work and drop offs were ahead of me. I insisted that I had an appointment and I expected the hitch to be installed. I was told to return at 12:30pm which I did only to be told that the hitch was never sent. Sherwin went into the computer only to discover the order had disappeared. He got on the phone and spoke with someone who said it would be overnighted and he would call me when Fed Ex arrived and install the hitch. On June 10 I waited until 2pm to call as I was anxious. On the phone call I was told that the hitch had come in and the manager had decided it was to be installed on June 12 at 1:30pm. To say I am furious is an understatement. How does someone schedule an appointment for me not knowing my schedule! This unprofessional organization and management style is textbook for why businesses will fail. I am appalled at the treatment and will make it a point to spread my story.

Absolute crooks!! Told one amount and looked on my credit card statement to find it was double and they didn't care. Very rude lady on the customer service side when I called! How does this company stay alive after all these bad experiences? Didn't get my money refunded. Never again will I rent anything or recommend them!

Uhaul - Truck Rental Review

The same thing happened to me. Rented a U-Haul, when I turned the truck in I was charged for an innaccurate amount of miles. According to Google maps I drove approximately 170 miles. I was charged for something like 238 miles. The error is with the odometer reading. This is outrageous! It is robbery. Next is a call to consumer affairs and BBB. I don't think I would even bother giving U-Haul a calll after seeing how others have been treated. Sad thing is that this is the 7th or 8th time this year that I have rented from u haul this year so I'm really wondering how much they have scammed off me before and other renters of this truck.

Supply Review

Uhaul are crooks, I have used them before and had little issues but this time I go to set up a move and instead of it being 280 for a 2 hr trip move it's now 409 plus I asked the person why this is she replied back supply and demand they can charge whatever they want specially if it's summer that's bull *** never in my life... They should have a set price and have to go by it ...

Very unprofessional service.

When I went to the U-haul location at 7918 Kanis in Little Rock, AR on Saturday, the attendants were so "unprofessional" I thought they were escaped criminals that had taken over the establishment and pretended to be employees to scam incoming customers. The trailer hitch installer wanted cash 'under the table' for his services, bypassing the U-Haul priced guidelines. When I mentioned that I only had a credit card he qouted a price almost twice what the trail hitch cost. When I pointed this out he took my hitch and put it back in my trunk. I politely mention that I don't do business that way with an established business. Wow!

PAYMENT SITUATION

I rented a truck and dollie on 5/2/14 to move my things out of storage to apartment. I thought they took the money out of my account on 5/3/14, that's usually what they do but I did not check to see if that was done. On 5/14/14 2 weeks after the move they tried to get there money out of my account but they couldn't because there was not enough money in the account. On 6/3/14 they decided to take out 80.00 for move plus a penalty of 28.27 for not being able to get the money on the 14th of may. I am so sick of U-Haul there will never be another time with them instead of calling me about the money being taken out later, they decide to screw up my checking account and have my rent check be returned and my account charged for overdraft. This company has no clue what they are doing. I have been there 2 or 3 times for rentals or to buy something and most of the time you have to wait for help or someone who is suppose to be working is on his cell phone and ignoring the customer. Great way to run a business...............that's it for me NO MORE U_HAUL

Terrible customer service;especially when trying to contact reg mgr

Rented from uhaul last 10 yrs an average of2-3 times a yr. Never had uhaul trailor rental without a problem;not right size trailor;not location promised;equipment dirty or leaked;return location closed; electrical system not functioning;& worst was hooked trailer up wrong! Each time I called customer service, I got no help & twice customer service Rep hung up on me when she couldn't fix problem or I asked for manager!! Rented in May, took 2-3 hrs & 3 locations & exchange of trailer before I was able to go load. I was 4 hrs behind schedule. Called district office & when assist called me back, I said I needed to speak to regional mgr---she assured me he'd call me back!! That was early May & it's now June 18. Frustrating

Horrible customer Service!!!

I reserved 2 trailers in my town for a wedding I am coordinating. A couple days after my reservations were finalized u haul called and said they could not fulfill my order and that i would have to pick up and drop off from a location that was 45 miles away. They did nothing to help me. All they kept saying was deal with it or we can cancel your reservation. Never will I use u haul again. The customer agents in the regional office did not seem to care that this was throwing a massive wrench in my time line. They are just hourly workers who could care less about their customers. I advise the corporate office to train their employees to deal better with irate customers when situations like this happen.

Car Accident Review

My car was hit by a uhaul truck driver. I have $6,000 in damage. They sent a appreiser and since then I have called everyday atleast 4 times. They dont answer and dont call me back. It has been 5 weeks and nothing. James Hardman is the dudes name. So rude and shady.

Hitch Installation Review

Called around got quotes for installing hitch on jeep patriot. Quoted total installed price including hitch, ball, lighting package. I asked of there was anything else or any other charges, answer from u haul associate NO. First thing I was asked at the store was did I need the bar to attack the ball I was getting to the hitch I was getting. That's $ 20. extra. Too late for me to find another place. contract #553****

2 times a fool. Uhaul gave me worst customer service twice

To be short, first time i rented a truck with a hold on cc and then paid the difference in cash upon return. They charged my cc and never returned the hold. 3 weeks later still double charged on my credit card. When i called to rectify I was told they would call me back. 1 week later no call. Called again and was hung up on by "customer service" when I demanded this be rectified. Called back and asked for call to be recorded, situation fixed almost a month later. Second reserved a truck over the phone and was told there would be a $85 hold which I was okay with. Went to pick up truck and they wanted $365 hold. Decided not to take truck and called to launch a complaint. First person I talked to said they would patch my through to someone who would help as I should have been given the original hold amount. After speaking with 3 others and on hold for over an hour I had a manager jump in and tell me that if I still want the truck I should go get it at $365 if not they have others who want it. When I tried to explain my situation I was told "OMG do I really have to listen to your whole story? We will call you back when we have time to chat" and hung up. Never again U-haul.

Uhaul Truck Rental Review

I rented a storage space; I asked about a " local" uhaul rental I was told if I reserved it the truck would be a local rental!! I said well that's what I wanted!! So that's what I did!! As it turned out I had to go 10 miles for the rental!! Gee!! Pay more for gas!! I'm so disturbed!!

Debit Card Information Review

They took my debit card information and charged me extra fees 30 days later. No phone calls no notice. I had no idea until money missing from my account. Talked to the owner who right from the start was rude and very off standing. He had just been rude to an elderly lady right before me.

Got mug by uhaul

I have been a loyal customer to uhaul for yea until 06/09/2014 I was in a process of moving from Florida to Virginia I call uhaul and I rented a moving truck and a tow dolly, no one had told me to remove the drive shaft cause my car was a back wheel drive so my transmission was got fried on the way so I call uhaul to explain them the situation then the filled a claim one week later the denied it saying the contract I sign had said to remove the drive shaft no one really read contract any more u uhaul never again, now I have to pay 3'700 for the damages, I just wanted to share my experience with uhaul with you guys so think twice before giving them your money

Do you seriously feel that uhaul is responsible for your stupídity? Do you need to be spoonfed throughout every aspect of life? Next time, crack open your car's owner's manual and read the section on towing....or is that too much like reading a contract?
