We reserved a rental truck well in advance, but when it came time to pick it up it was nowhere to be found. We were sent on a wild goose chase from one location to another, and finally 2 hours later (and many miles away from where pick up was supposed to be) we completed our rental. Since we had already lost our helper for the move, U-Haul agreed to allow us an extra day, free of charge.

On day 2, we received a call asking if we would pretty please bring the truck back early.. and if so, we would get a $100 discount on our $600 bill (the move was long distance, and for a friend to boot).

We agreed, and pushed ourselves to do the entire move one day early. Exhausted, we got the truck back to them on time.

2 months, and many phone calls and emails to customer service later, we still have not be credited the $100!! They said they attempted to refund my Visa card the day after the truck return, but it was "denied by the bank". Right. Checking into this, we discovered they had entered the wrong Visa number, and absolutely they would correct that right away. Which of course, they have not.

Worst rental ever, and nothing but BS from customer service equals NO WAY IN *** WILL WE EVER RENT FROM U-HAUL AGAIN!!!

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $100.

Uhaul Cons: No follow through with refund, Truck not ready on pick up day, Extremely rude customer service rep at original rental location.
