They raised the price of the storage unit on me for no apparent reason. Manager just said they do that once or twice a year. Then, when it comes time for me to move my things out, they inform me that my full months rent is still due on the first as always, even though I will have my things in the unit for 1 more week. So I ended up paying a raised rate, plus a full months rent for 1 week. No prorate, or refund when you move into your new home.... Read more

I checked out the Truck rate from Indiana to Illinois, it was $147.00. 2 DAYS later, yes 2 DAYS, I went back in to place my order and the rate had increased to $221.00, an increase of $74.00!!! I called corporate and was told that it is due to "supply & demand". My U-Haul guy had plenty of supply and no other trucks were scheduled for that day! So what gives??? The total incompetence of this company is mind blowing. I booked equipment well in advance of my move, having requested pickup at a specific location as I was told the equipment was available. Great. Then I got an email confirmation and found out I'd have to drive an hour EACH WAY to pick up our reserved equipment because they booked the wrong city!! What is the point in booking equipment at a location if uHaul is going to make you drive so far... Read more

I have a Storage unit n this is my second time having to report the extreme unprofessional attitudes of the people who work there Ashley Williams is the new manager and her attitude is one of arrogance and immaturity I will be grateful to get my things out of there there's no need to pay for a storage and experience harassment by the ones that are being paid to service you

I ordered help from the company "First Class Movers" through MovingHelp. I called a few times ahead just to make sure they understand my need to disassemble and reassemble my bed frame. However, not only that the workers came THREE HOURS LATE, they failed to do the slightest job in disassembling and decided to move the bed frame as it is. I rented a truck from a location that I trust and that treats customers with respect. Precision Automotive in Ceres, CA. Unfortunately, I was told to pick up my truck on Del Ct in Ceres. I had an appointment to pick up a trailer. When I arrived there was a note on the door, not handwritten, saying, "We are out running errands, sorry for the inconvenience." I left my own note asking them to contact me. Then I called that location and left a phone message requesting a call back. I rented a small storage unit from U-Haul at the Bell Rd and Grand Ave location. About 3 months ago I received an email stating that my monthly payment hadn't been made. I pay all my regular monthly bills (mortgage, utilities, etc.) through my bank's online bill payment system, never had any issues. Using U-haul Uboxes was an unforgettable experience, but not in a good way. It took 12 times calling them to actually get anybody competent enough to answer my questions about when/how my boxes would be delivered. They called me back to say the delivery truck was broken so I should get another service to bring me the boxes but it would add an extra charge. The truck was fixed by delivery day but they were at least 2 1/2 hours late delivering... Read more
